I was listening to SEN this morning on my way to work and the "Morning Glory" team were interviewing Akermanis (spelling), Brisbane AFL player.

They asked him about the rape allegations and how big it was in the news in Brisbane. The interview went on and the presenters stated that compared to AFL players, the NRL are "unprofessional".

They were actively trying to lead Akermanis to criticise rugby league and the players. But he wasn't that stupid and was careful about his statements. Not like the presenters who were casting aspersions left, right and centre. It was either Garry Lyons or Tim Watson that was making the comments.

Email the show and SEN to make a stand against this negative view that these presenters have against our great team and game.

This station claims to be for "all sports" but their morning presenters seem to be for "all sports as long as it's AFL".

Mark Doran, on from 8pm to 12am is much more interested in all sports, he gives time to cricket, soccer, aussie rules, basketball, rugby league, motor racing, golf, etc.

It was Tim Watson who made the comments, which included him saying that the NRL players are pathetic in their levels of professionalism.
They constantly referred to drinking habits, referring to the State of Origin camp where the players have drinking sessions as bonding sessions.
Storming our way to glory!

Guys, really it can only be expected from those nobodies,
its called selective memory.
and it is peculiar to Melbourne afl culture
Given the opportunity, they will lambast all other codes of football except
Gaelic, as they somehow see it as theirs (never mind its played with a round ball on a proper football pitch.)
If you want to contribute to their success, :TURN EM OFF"
