I just posted this over on the Panthers Forum at LU, and I don't think they'll like it, but it's the truth, and I sure hope that nothing like this ever happens at Olympic Park. It showed a total lack of respect their club.
First, congrats to the Panthers on the win, they earnt it. Your last second defense was excellent and cost us a number of tries. We got over the line 3 times andd you managed to stop us from scoring when it looked like a certain try.

The Storm deserved to lose and several players could struggle to hold their spot for next week.

It was still a good night despite the loss, but I must say, I was absolutely APPAULED and DISGUSTED with the ground last night.

While Penrith provides one of the best atmospheres at a footy game and one of the friendliest supporters bases, the way that the ground was left at the end of the match was nothing less then downright embarassing.

With it not being my sides home ground, I had the courtesy to take my rubbish with me and dispose of it as I find it rude to dump your rubbish especially at someone else's place, but I would say that at LEAST 60% of the ground at the northern ends, southern ends, and the concrete part in front of the western stand was littered with empty, or even full bottles of beer, paper and plastic cups, and whatever else people took to the football with them.

I was one of the last few to leave the stands, and looking at everyone just drop their rubbish on the ground and leave it in the state that it was in was absolutely SICKENING and HORRENDOUS. I have never seen any ground look so abused by it's fans after a match of football bar none. The club should put the prices up on the tickets for your games just say they can hire the extra thousand cleaners that will be required to have cleaned up that garbage compacter that was your home ground.

While I know that it won't have been everyone who did it, and I didn't really see what the western grandstand was like, with the ammount of cr@p that was left behind, I would say that it was most definitely the majority of people in those areas that left their waste behind.

It was DISGRACEFUL, APPAULLING, HORREDNOUS, ATTROCIOUS, SICKENING, ABYSMAL and INEXCUSEABLE.

All those who contributed to the state of the ground, no matter who they support, should be ashamed of themselves. I know that even as an opposition supporter walking through the ground after the game when most had left I myself was embarassed at what fellow football fans could have done to their own how ground.

Shame, shame, shame.

PS Congrats on the good win.
Anyone else at the game see the same way they left their home ground and feel the same way I did?

ive been going to panthers for a fair bit now and its like that after every game ive been too.

the seating arrangments are also very poor now...they have made almsot the entire grandstands reserved seating...so you have to pay $20 to sit on the edge of the grandstand...not only that but i had a secruity gaurd standing in my way for msot of the game..and the screen kept blacking out!

That was a pain in the butt too, the screen being blacked out to start the second half. I think they have made the entire, not almost entire granstand reserved seating. Where about did you end up for the game?

EDIT: You know what I just realised, your Illuminati on the LU forums, aren't you.   Damn I
m slow.

Front row, closest to the end.

EDIT: Was the one with the bandaged hand, putting up the banners, and screaming the Magic Hat, and Steven Bell songs and the missed conversion songs.

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

Funny you should say that, my aunt whose house I stayed at last night took a look at the outside this morning and said " Oh they've cleaned up quickly this time" then after driving past the hill she adds "Oh I spoke to soon".

As for talk about pissed of Panthers fans, was anyone here hanging around after the match to see the players, and listening to my crazy friends singing 'There's only one F in Penrif'? When a Panthers fan told them to shut up, the quick retort was "We're Bulldogs fans, causing s**t is what we do best!"

I have some lovely photos to show you as soon as my friend (of whom Matt King is a fan and I'll explain later) decides to upload them on to the net.

BUt I have never seen any ground look that disgraceful after a game. I see it as not taking pride in your club to just dump all your crap like that.
