crap ref's, crap jerseys, crap game all around really.

it is beyond me why, when we have possibly the best support player in the league in slater, but the other guys just weren't going to him.

hmmm, 4 botched tries, 24 possible points, possible score 40-36 storm

I'm joining the Steven Clark hater's club efective immediately. How many damn times were we penalized for things that had absolutely nothing wrong with them?!?!?! Slater's "knock on" on the second half, Hill's "tackling man without the ball", goddamit, had whatever his name was managed to held on to the ball it was fine!! it's his fault he couldn't hold on to it, was Hill supposed to expect him not to get the ball???

Jeezus christ I'm abslutely convinced Clark really has something against us. Robert Finch can surely expect another complaint from Bellamy, even Fatty, Rabs and Sterlo picked up on those amazingly atrocious calls by Clark.

Granted we couldn't hold on the ball too much but everytime we had posession, he's not allowing us to do much with it!

I was right to say earlier on the week on LU that I should've changed my tip to Penrith, I had a terrible feeling Penrith were going to absolutely fire up. The same feeling I had before the Manly game. Goddamit.

Great win for us, bad luck Storm, gotta improve your away form.

The ref made one bad call by himself taht went against the Storm and that was when Priddis knocked the ball out of Orfords hand and he said it was an Orford knock-on.

The touchie made the call with Slaters knock-on, not the ref.

Why am i not at all surprised with the loss? Every time we start to get some media attention our opposition decides to come and play? Manly did it and now Penrith...

But i pretty much agree with others... the ref was crap (for both sides but i'd say against us more), Panthers bashed us up right from the begining, the ref was crap (did i say that already), our completion rate was very ordinary, the Panthers defence especially near or over the line was superb and that touchie should never have made that call against Slater (he was easily influenced with a vocal home crowd, we'd try the same thing i suppose). For the most part i thought our defence was quite good near the line but then obviously not good enough to concede 36 points

On the bright side, haven't we got a home game next week?

Hrmm.. i think i'll be taping over that game pretty quickly.
I'll join in the clarke haters club. He sure didnt help us. How long until he calls HELD??? and how long can they hold us down!?
Also, on the kickoff, i thought you had to be BEHIND the line?

Anyway, the ref (and touchies) WAS shit. But so were we, and i hope we absolutly give it to the eels.

Two more things, Rabs was pissing me off, he sounded like Eddie commentating a collingwood game, it got annoying as hell.

Oh and the away jerseys look crap.

Until next time......

Please don't tell me the ref was crap, coz he wasn't has bad as people will say. (I still want his blood, but thats another story)

Melbourne believed their own crap that so many were in line for a Test jersey.

We played like a bunch of 2nd graders all thinking they would be thought of as seniors.

If Webster isn't dropped I'll be very surprised. (in fact he should have been dropped three weeks ago).

There was not one player tonight who played FOR THE TEAM, instead they played for self and a rep jersey.

Yet again, it (representative) has gone to our heads and we have believed our own S*&% and cost us a game.

Wake up Melbourne, until we play 80 minutes of footy, like we did the first time this year against Brisbane, we wont come close to winning an another premiership.

The only fortune from this game is that the Panthers were that crap they didn't score more against us. I refer back to my comments after round one and two.

If you don't play 80 minutes you'll get no where.

I thought Hill was our best. He kept trying, in defence and attack.

Just relax you guys, there are many more games for us to win, lol.

Did I watch the same game?

It would have been nice for Hill to have been on the park tonight.......period

Yes there are more games to win, but unless we play 80 minutes when we are away from home, we ain't worth anything in the premiership race.

I admit i went on the drink after a few penrith trys, but i though hill played ok? I'll watch the game again in a few days after my anger has worn off and then see who i thought played alright.

I know one thing, Our game plan of previous weeks was non-existent. :x
