watching billy on the footy show, doing his young gun of the year interviews, on thing became very obvious.

sorry billy, you are an absolute gun at footy, but an absolute klutz at media. i was almost crying watching his interview of leon bott

You obviously haven't seen many other attempts on the Fatty Show... I thought he was fine compared to some of the other players that have tried doing player interviews - I thought it was Bott that lacked any personality whatsoever, and when you're interviewing someone like that (can anyone say Wayne Bennett or his younger clone Darren Lockyer), it makes for a very awkward interview...
(when you come to think of it, maybe the Broncos players need media/personality training)

when talking to the storm players last year he was alright...not the best...... put he should still stick to league and scoring more tries :)

Good ol' Bill, we know he's not the sharpest knife in the draw, but his personality and playing prowess, will certainly do only good for storm PR

Yeah....He may have just been nervous cause he seems to do so much better when he is the one getting interviewed....
Bott seemed to be to out of it to even give half an interview...
Bill may get better in weeks to come but...he just needs his confidence to grow.

Webcke is on the Queensland segment that NSW (and Victorian) viewers don't get.

I thought Billy's interview with Webcke was pretty good, I loved the dig Billy made about the age difference between Bott and Webcke.
