At first I was furious, but thinking on it more they are probably protecting the kid, which is probably the right call. I think they know what might be coming against a smarting riff...which is likely a rough night for us. Hopefully we fight hard as we have for over a month now

No reason to keep playing Blore. I can understand them shielding Watson. But why Toelau over Wishart?

Can only imagine it's because he's leaving the club and they want another look at Toelau. Probably need to see him play a bit more footy to decide where they are going with him. Cant see them prefering him over Wish if was a finals game. Might be a change or 2 yet. I'd be going Wish personally if protecting Watson also, I fear a lot more for us getting hammered with Toleau in the 7. Weaker defensively and a target, whilst less of a run threat. Getting smoked here would be a shame after the last good month of footy.

Can't believe they dropped Waitere out of the squad and have no outside back cover on the bench now. Do they realise Howarth is still in the team and is made up of candy glass and twigs

Chan is there and has played almost every game at centre, either as a starter or an interchange. He shouldn't have, but he has.

If Storm are getting ahead he will pull some rubbish out of his a$$ to take momentum away and hand it to the Panthers.

Somewhat optimistic over this one...maybe? Think we can at least give them a contest for 40-50 minutes and hope they don't burn our edges too much for us to be to out of range at the end.

Atkins is a good ref whenever Penrith aren’t involved, it’s so clear and obvious he is a fan of theirs.

Same with Ashley Klein, he has always been ok for us except when the riff are involved.

I know this might be a controversial take but as a Storm fan the best and most fair ref over the years was always Gerard Sutton, we didn’t always win but he was always fair I found, if we lost when he was the ref it was usually the teams fault not his.

That being said I’ve seen him have some shockers in other games but as a Storm fan over the years I always thought he did ok by us.

I'd say Peter Gough is the best. He's calm, he's respectful to the players and gets respect back and I can usually see how he gets to a decision.

Keeley lazy at marker, Howarth getting b****ed with the ball, Meaney lazy in defence, Munster no interest in contesting a bomb, Loiero penalty already.
