Happy with this team only way it could be better would obviously have Rome and possibly switch up Hugo and Sua but second game for Shawn and Valu back …can only make us better

I hope

Trent Toelau should be a positive inclusion imo

The backrow being sorted out will fix some issues for us. Great to see Lisati back.

Macca might be our worst regular middle player this season so starting him instead of dropping him is a choice.

I've got no faith in Macca whatsoever - give me Trent starting ahead of him any day. Maccas been as poor as anyone this year, why he deserves a promotion I've no idea. Putting Clarke/king/lisati/blore/chan ..even munster/howarth/wish there - I could of understood. I really hope Clarke in 18 doesn't mean he doesn't get any game time unless there's a middle injury. That would be even more of a head scratcher as he's been one of our best and should be getting time to develop. Surely if you are going to drop chan to the bench - he moves behind Clarke as a first choice sub at prop or 2nd row. Surely Pahulu deserves a chance ahead of chan if you are going to shift him to the bench.

Peel to enter the fray as the latest on the wfb/centre merry go round after leo/waitere failings - lets hope he's not straight back out the door also. Jack at right centre again is it? How's he going to go against Farnworth? ffs. Dolphins one of the most dangerous attacking outfits in the comp against our defence does not inspire confidence, especially on the back of a demotion of one of our best middle defenders, certainly a way better defender than macca imo. Lets see if they line up as named.

The markets finally cottoned on..

phins 1.60
storm 2.30

Seems about right.

Excellent work by the club here

Positives :

- Blore starting
- Lisati back and straight into the run on side
- Peel included
- Toelau given a shot
- Loiero dropped to the bench
- Wishy into the halves

Negatives

- Munster holds his spot purely from JH injury
- Macca isn’t going much better than Loiero, should be Clarke
- Howarth lucky to hold onto a spot, must be close to the chop after the last month of very poor footy.
- Thought we might get X back I’ve heard he looks good at training, bit of a shame.

Overall happy the club has made some moves and aren’t just sitting on their hands, hopefully the new guys bring some new energy and a change of fortune!

That’s disappointing to hear, was there a set back Sally?

*Edit*

I saw the article, it says he will start running and training with the team for the next week or 2 with a view to return within the month, so fingers crossed he gets through unscathed and we can get him back in 3 or so weeks, missing him big time.

Happy for Lisati being back. He played really well before his injury.

Happy to seel Peel get a chance. Hopefully Pahulu gets a chance.

Could see our 7th and 8th Victorians play for the Storm.

Definitely always been touted as round 10, when the surgery first occurred it’s what the club announced and on most NRL injury pages it’s what it still says. Just glad he is back running and not too far off, need all the help we can get.

Macca out. Trent to lock. Clarke up a spot and Pahulu onto bench. Also whispers that the centers will go back to their positions of the last 2 years. Much stronger all round if true on the back of the 2nd rowers returns and with the galavanising effect of Bellamy news...I think we are in with a real shot now. Might be worth a punt on us as outsiders.
