Well this is an interesting game, 3 losses on the trot and a 50 piece put on us last time out, in years past I’d expect a hell of a response at home against a rival but with this years team? Who knows, I hope the boys have enough pride to show up and fix the issues that have been plaguing us all season, this game is huge in the context of our season.

Hoping to see a few players return this week, should add a bit to the edges with Howarth, Blore and Lisati hopefully good to go, Waitere unlucky as I though the showed some good signs last week but I think they pick Leo.

I will tip us in a tight one, don’t think we will see a big score like years past.

Storm 24 Warriors 10

Some Warriors news from the weekend :

- Adam Pompey is facing a 1 week ban with an early plea for a raised leg in the Sharks game

- Luke Metcalf will miss after a hamstring strain as well

- Charnze Nicol-Klokstad is also a doubt after a neck injury in the dying minutes of the Sharks game.

All big pluses for the Storm.

Blore is playing NSW Cup again, must still be a bit rusty thought he would come back in for sure.

Hopefully Lisati back next week and Xavier Coates must be getting close too, hopefully back in the next 3 or 4 weeks as well.

Nothing in the forward pack that inspires me to think the metres gained number will be increased, still a little unsure that this is the best team to deal with the new rules and have a sneaky suspicion that Harry is carrying a leg injury that has to be managed.

I’d have thought that Trent Toelau must be close to getting a utility role at Wishy’s expense ? I feel that Tyran’s output and effectiveness has waned considerably over the last 12 months (just my opinion)

It was definitely strange comments. He was obviously frustrated but then realised he doesn't have the squad to make wholesale changes.

Unsurprisingly, it'll just be the debutante and the 4 gamer STB that get the chop.

I don't expect Bellamy to do anything but until Lisati and Blore come back we really can't be doing much changing atm. Backline will be different when Coates returns. Munster ain't getting dropped.

Agreed. He's had good cameos here and there (Dragons game for example) but he's been living off the stretch in 2024 when he filled in for Munster.

Have a very low confidence feeling we will win this one. Warriors struggling, back at home, to toss up another poor one here would be brutal.

We either win this by 6 or lose by 40

NZ playing away but we all know it’s a home crowd for them. They’ll want to bash us. Leka will run riot

Watching the Dogs serve it up to the Panthers is more worrying, shows the Panthers aren’t invincible and it was a total lack of effort and commitment that caused us to concede 50, I hope we see a huge bounce back this weekend.
