Grand Final - Storm v Panthers

Typical Annesley. No balls at all.
Cleary should have been smacked hard for his comments about the ref, but nothing. Can you imagine if that was - say - Sticky?

We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Fingers crossed for big NAS
Agreed - the Grade 3 comes across as strategically planned
So true. They knew we would fight it as a grand final is on the line. Down grading from a grade two to a grade one and free to play, so much easier. Getting a double down grade not that easy no matter if there is a grand final to play or not.

I hope this lights a fire under the rest of the team, stick one right up at the NRL, embrace the siege mentality because with the NSWRL it really is us against them!

Have no idea how that is a grade 3, was expecting it to be downgraded to grade 2. So same result.
Didn't give us much of a chance when Paul Simpkins was on the panel. He used to crucify us when he refereed us - 2006 NRL Grand Final is the prime example.

Also thought we were gone once heard simpkins was on the panel. Probably our worst ever ref after klein and the nob on the weekend..
one thing I do know re. NAS as others have touched on, is he is well loved within that team. Forget his footy which can come and go, pretty sure he's the softest most lovable bloke and the team may well gain an extra couple percent seeing what it means to him and using that for a little extra spark
i guess in trying to find positives , our chance of copping a sin bin and being left short in the game just went down also
