Round 25 - Storm vs Dolphins
Saturday 24th August
5:30pm
AAMI Park
1st vs 9th
Dolphins have continued their slide out of the 8 however with the exception of last week against the Bulldogs, they have been right in games and have not lost by much. Including against the Panthers and us.
Take them lightly at our own peril.

Their forward pack is pretty much bits and pieces at this point and that's why they've blown some winnable games the last couple of months. They do have a backline that can score points which should be a worry.
Anderson out? Coates a possibility or Sua gets a crack?

Hoping Coates is ready to go.
Ideally want him on the park for a few weeks before finals.

Anderson will have to be out, barring a very rare exception to the 11 day stand down rule.
Coates coming in would be a great replacement if he is right to go.
I feel terrible for Anderson, as I don’t know if he gets back into the team. I wasn’t a huge fan after his first couple of games, but man this year he has been outstanding. Thoroughly deserves a first grade spot but much like Sua, you can’t fit em all in

I hope we pick our best possible team for this one. Due to our poor for-and-against , we need one more win to lockdown top 2. Let’s aim to win this one, then manage players in the last 2 weeks ( especially with the 5 day turnaround for the game in NQ).

Possible changes if they rest our first graders
Dean iremia was pulled from the bears on the weekend so was Sua so either could play for Grant Anderson if Xavier isn’t ready or of bellza decides to make other changes on the wing centre areas
Tep had a HIA for the bears but came back on so is fine and Lisati had his best game
Kane Bradley Tristan Powell and Marion Seve played as well as they could’ve in a 46-24 point game in png
Aj had his best game with the falcons scored 2 ….lazarus was massive again and Chris Lewis was pretty good too

I wouldn't call our F/A poor it's basically just not being able to kill off teams like the Roosters/Sharks did this season. It shows how important last weeks win was and I am glad with one more win we wont have to worry about it.

Wishart on the Wing, no Coates in the squad at all.
Sua back on the bench, Welch in the extended squad.
Marshall-King not named at all for Phins.
