Wonder if Bradley gets any serious consideration for the bench over Chan purely on the basis that he covers wing, centre and second row? Personally, I would stay with Chan, he's in form but, I could understand the temptation.

NRL website has Munster @ 6 too, but FOX Sports and League Unlimited have him at 7, someone’s made a booboo somewhere.
At training Bradley and Anderson on the wings and afterwards Bradley spent a lot of time practicing kick catches. Anderson slipped at one stage and was rubbing and inspecting his left leg, nothing from the coaching crew though. Coates was training away from the group. Tui was in everything and looked as if he would be playing, and up close he is a BIG unit. Sua did everything at FB. Tyron at HB, can he curb his enthusiasm and decide when to run and when to kick?
This is a week where we need to back our defence first and foremost, no jamming in.

Agreed, they may as well have "L" and "R" on their backs, ie. Left and Right
If Joey wore a 6 would he be any lesser a player. JT wore both through his career didn't he? (And carved us up from the bench from memory - geez, that was a looooong time ago!)
So happy hearing Sua did everythingBullucked wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 6:36 pm At training Bradley and Anderson on the wings and afterwards Bradley spent a lot of time practicing kick catches. Will be interesting to see who Tui comes in for. First time that he, NAS, Welch, Macdonald, King and Loeiro have been all available this year. Do we go with 3 props on the bench? Or does one of those miss out? Hopefully not Macdonald, but it wouldn't surprise.

Not saying I'm being cynical but the only thing that crosses me mind this week is
1. Who will drop the ball first with an open goal line in front of them Warbrick or Wishart
2. WIll Meaney actually kick more that 50%
3. How long before the commentators notice that what opposing teams, we have are focusing attacks down the left side

I think with Garlic on the bench who can cover back row, you can go with three middles so Chan drops off.
With Wishart on the bench you would want a bit more versatility from your 3rd bench forward so maybe not McDonald. I think JC played centre when Sua and Paps were off.
