Tui didn't get a single Dally M vote, NRL really should have to justify that

I know right.

Dally M votes: Jahrome Hughes 5, Ezra Mam 5, Jesse Arthars 1, Harry Grant 1.

Hughes and Mam deserved to be in the votes somewhere, but I can't for the life of me work out how anyone who watched the game thinks Arthars was more influential than Tui

Forgot about Katoa, he had an absolute beast of a game. He's a real weapon when we use him right.

Annesley explaining the Munster no try.

A couple of points in rebuttal though:

1. Klown doesn't actually call surrender

2. How do you know that Mariner doesn't intend to get up and run? Munster is too fast

Wow, any excuse for that decision is better than none.

The ref is still required to actually call surrender. It doesn't happen 'til he says it.
Unfortunately over the last 18 months Annesley's weekly spot has become less about explaining and more and more about justifying the ref and/or bunker's decisions - right of ludicrous.

The club should release their own video countering Anusley’s idiotic attempt to justify the decision when it clearly didn’t even reach his own definition.

No accountability. Big surprise.

Doesn’t do any favours to the NRLs case when the highlighted passages clearly says the referee will call surrender in that case.

I wasn't aware of these "briefings" and I don't think I'll be wasting my time in the future.
I mean, what a joke. How very politician like is he in his answers and unaccountability. Completely ignores the part about the referee "shall immediately call surrender", are the journalists (if we can call them that) allowed to ask questions / interrogate?

I've always been a fan of the tacklers standing off the player and waiting for them to raise. Could we have a "Mexican stand off"?

Does this mean the involuntary tackle is now dead?
