We've missed the finals 3 times in 25 years - an absolutely spectacular run. We have nothing to complain about. I'm absolutely greatful.

But f*ck that was disappointing!
Yep. This is true. We've been very lucky to see our team play so many finals over so many years.

But I am totally numb after Ryan's injury.

No sure if this will galvanise the team or tear its heart out.
Absolutely crushed for Ryan. Poor bugger.

Bellamy was shattered for Pappy.

He said he didn't know how we could come and play like that in this game.

We finished top 4 so we get another chance.

Xavier will get scans, but that doesn't look good either. We had 4 players with HIAs too.

If we make the prelim final will it likely be at home or away?

I hate being so negative (and I have been since the team was named)… But I genuinely cannot see how the terror of that game galvanises the team on the field. It has to be completely demoralising for the players as much as it is for us fans.

Too much has to change (significantly) before we see any meaningful positives.

It would be away, likely against Penrith.

The only one of our forwards with over 100 m was Nelson.

In that case, we have 0.000000001% chance of making this years GF!

Winning tonight and getting a home preliminary final was our only chance of making Grand Final.

So what are we looking at next week?

1. Fa’alogo
2. Meaney
3. Smith
4. Olam
5. Warbrick
6. Munster
7. Hughes
8. Sims
9. Grant (c)
10. Moeroa
11. Asofa-Solomona
12. Katoa
13. Garlick

14. Wishart
15. King
16. Kamikamika
17. Chan? Macca?

Bye bye Welch, Loiero, Eisenhuth, Tonumaipea and Seve. Paps and X obviously due to injury, King Grant and Munster hanging on by the skin of their teeth.

Can’t do any worse than the cattle out there tonight, I’d like to hope this loss and the Papi injury galvanised the team but I think we are done. That was a hammer blow, I can’t see how we reset and get back to the level to trouble the best teams.

Harry is his own worst enemy. Love his work ethic but he tries to do too much and it can kill us at times. Be it missed tackles or penalties without the ball or him being so frantic and not on the same page with anyone else with the ball.

I don’t really have much of an issue with Young. We knew at some point he wouldn’t be good enough but I thought he held up well enough since returning.

The other two just shows how screwed our roster management and development has been. Welch coming off a serious injury shouldn’t be asked to do so much and Loiero has yet to prove why he deserved an 80 minute role every week without any consideration of being replaced.

Tui hasn't made metres in a long time. Several weeks lately where he hasn't had a run after half time
