Slightly on a different tack, I was watching Michael Ennis talk abound t the Mitchell issue and the issues it created. He said if that was Billy Slater on stage, he would have been having a conversation with CB and even more robust conversation with Cameron Smith.
It lead me to thinking if a storm player behaved in the same way at the moment, no doubt there would be a robust exchange of views with CB but who would be the standards enforcer /enforcers from the playing group. I just don't see the current captain as the one to do it.
