No mate, exhausted, the possession the panthers have had has been obscene. Melbourne haven't helped themselves in terms of discipline, but the ref is giving some very very soft calls in favour of the panthers too

Laziness is not the issue. What game are you watching?

We actually refuse to get off our line in defence. It’s excruciating. Just handing the Panthers 60m sets.

We also don’t seem to learn from our previous games. Every time our ruck gets dominated, we start looking for the easy option in attack. We try to force an offload or spread it wide instead of knuckling down and having a dig. NAS aside.

That actually is lazy IMO. Looking for a shortcut.

If not lazy, a very defeatist mindset.

King standing in the defensive line giving away the obstruction penalty was what that lazy comment was aimed at.

Meaney crap and always out of position on our line defensively, Warbrick can’t read a book, Seve slow, Young T only one earning his pay, Wishart never in 1st grade again, Munster Ghost, Pezet out of his depth, Welch needs to go as captain, Grant overplaying his hand, Tui soft, Trent soft, Eisenhuth been ok, King ok but ill disciplined, Tepai runs hard at least, NAS dumb but trying to turn the tide, Katoa still on the bench I mean, what can you say? We will finish the round in the top 4 but what’s the point, it hasn’t been clicking all year in the key areas and Bellamy doesn’t seem to be doing a thing about it, I don’t care what he does but he needs to try something next week, throw Paps in, throw Fa’alogo in, get the injured boys to toughen up and play, give Olam a rocket and tell him to go earn his pay, change the captain, blood Howarth, do something!! How are we just sitting here watching a repeat of 4 weeks ago? A month from finals and we look as bad and out of sync as we have all year, this is not the Storm we know, all these clowns need a MASSIVE attitude adjustment or it’ll be another season as also-rans.

Oh wait y'all were being serious about like winning and stuff. Not much has changed for us since the Marvel Stadium showing against them, other than we have more outs.

We should have rested all the boys, this was always an L. Would love to be proven wrong though.

Please don’t call the X again. He lasts the game, is a better defender and has more presence than any other winger we have

Would say it’s poor discipline rather that laziness. Penrith are so relentless and we’ve struggled to handle how fast they are once they got on top. They are a nightmare matchup for us.

Panthers dominating possession and field position and Welch tries a risky offload in our own half and gives away a try. NAS with late hit on Cleary after a good defensive hit and King giving away obstruction and leading to a try.

Three massive moments in the first half.

We aren’t losing due to lack of talent, we get outcompeted and outenthused and don’t seem content on doing anything about it, no accountability no one firing up behind the posts trying to lift the boys, it’s like they accepted defeat before they ran out and that’s the most disappointing thing for me.

Why is anyone surprised with the way we are playing tonight. This has been us all season. We no longer have the next man up mine set and we wait for the so called big guns to fire. We have no purple pride anymore. We are not going deep into the finals this year. We will be lucky to finish top four. The purple wall of defense has gone and so has the purple reign. When the players start player for the jersey again I might start being proud to be a storm supporter and stay a member.

WHAT IS IT WITH THIS CLUB AND WINGERS JAMMING IN FFS!!!!!

Can our coaches not teach them to number up and slide, doesn’t matter who we have it seems to be engrained in our team, how has Bellamy never addressed this?
I don’t think you watch the modern game. You can’t slide on your line as it gives up metres. You have to be good at jamming in as you are often outnumbered outwide…Wishart is just too slow / not practiced at it
