Be surprised if anything comes from it but spot on from the coach

Spine was toothless tonight too, no surprise that when they struggle we struggle. Need to be better, hopefully Paps coming back in a few weeks adds something to the team even if it’s just some damn enthusiasm.

Sjms got 2 weeks so at least we get 2 weeks without having to worry about the two small shards of flint he keeps in his head in lieu of a functional brain actually going near enough to each other to create the spark of a coherent thought.

Very disappointing.
Particularly the defence. The boys just hang back and give their opponents room to move. Then our edges rush in and leave gaping spaces at the edges.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Somehow, we remain in the top four, for the time being.

Reimis Smith will be out for a number of weeks too. I guess that means Marion Seve will be back.

Without wanting to be too negative, I think it's time to end the experiment with Christian as captain.
I don't think he's the right guy for the job and I think he needs to be focused solely on being a key front rower at the moment.

Not sure who to give it too though. We really don't have many obvious choices.

Munster and Hughes lead the team anyway, I think it has to be one of them

You see Munster address the team regularly whereas I'm not sure I've seen Hughes say anything. That said , I remember players would say that Cameron Smith had the ability to calm them down and to refocus. I haven't seen any evidence of that from either player.

Fight with Cameron on the field he turns to s**t then we play like s**t

The game yesterday we looked and played like we were on holiday …like Munster and Meaney had the week off and no one was leading the team

Guess what Munster and Meaney didn’t train all week and we have been on holiday

The confusion at the end over whether to take a penalty goal or not suggests no one is an obvious choice.

So if the leadership group is Welch, Munster, Grant and Hughes, it doesn't scream inspiring leadership.
