Useless stat, so not posting it in the stats thread…

Melbourne won 24-6 on 24/6.

Thought after a poor first-half that Pezet was awesome. He’s got great vision.

Weird bench last night too - at one stage it was Wishart, Garlick and Sims so the middle forwards had to play bigger minutes.

Good to see the backs took pressure off them though with some really good runs out of the 20.

Fa'alogo not playing Q Cup today, does that mean Meaney is in doubt for next week?

Meaney said on the radio after the game he had a pelvis / groin injury for a few weeks that was being managed.

In that case, should Pezet not have been the main goal kicker?

I was calling for it all night. Pezet too good a kick not to let him have a crack if Means had got any niggle whatsoever…

If Meaney is out surely Pezet stays in the halves and Munny goes back.

Not sure Munster has the fitness and definitely doesn’t have the speed to be at fullback these days.

We might get to see Sua Fa'alogo... At least I wouldn't mind seeing him get a go

Watching the replay, 8.53 to go and Meaney took a hit up near the line and his leg was pulled wide, kinda like a chicken wing tackle but on a leg, he got up noticeably gingerly and went off not long afterwards. Look at the replay and you'll see.

If Meaney is injured (I have no idea), it might be one of those Munster at FB games with Pezet retaining his spot.
