Damn no MacDonald is a weird one since he's returned from injury.

Only change to starting 13 named on Tuesday is that Tom Eisenhuth is starting in second row and Tariq Sims drops to the bench.

Bench: Sims, Wishart, Pene, Bradley.
18th man: Lewis.

That's vice captain Eisenhuth tonight. With Welch, Grant, Munster and Papenhuyzen out, Hughes is captain tonight and by default, Eisenhuth is bice captain as the other member of the leadership group.

Everything about that is embarrassing. Boys need to pick it up

The way we started I expected we would put 50 on them tonight.

Good to see Eisenhuth and King playing well.

Twal scoring his first against us is so typical for us. They'll be up and about now.

Jennings also playing great, running like Olam used to. Real hard to deny him a place next week to be honest.

Pezet showed a glimpse just needs to have the confidence to try make chances.

Turned an iffy kick into a great result with a bit of luck. Wishart much more energetic and comfortable at hooker too.

Bit of a strange one, but considering we are missing Papenhuyzen, Coates, Olam, Munster, Grant, Welch and Katoa from our top 13 it’s been a fair effort, tough grind and I think defence will win this one, can’t see many more points from us time to put the brick wall up let’s go lads! 💪

Some very poor, ineffective tackling is costly us dearly and is keeping the Tigers in this. Not overly impressed with Pezet's decision making at crucial times either, but that's what these opportunities are for - hopefully he settles in and has a better second half.

Typical inconsistent refereeing against us too; they have their arms/hands in the ruck and we get told not to lock them in (like we were doing it deliberately and not just trying to keep control of the ball) - we have our arms/hands in the ruck, clearly locked in, and of course it's a set restart/penalty... They flop and keep working in the tackle well after the ref has called held = nothing... we're fractionally late getting off = penalty. :rolleye:

Hopefully we're good enough to overcome the issues above - I'm not confident we'll win this even though we look the better side (mostly).

It'll be interesting to see how NAS is used in the 2nd half. Has looked a bit vulnerable on the edge and not sure playing him for 80 is the go. I'd like to see him back at prop. Not sure who plays 2nd row. Eisenhuth and Sims have done it in the past but seem to be more middle these days. Maybe Garlick.

Very fortunate not to leak some points here to start the second half.

Warbrick is going to be our winger of the decade. Mark my words.

Pez might be our best ball player at the club already.

Great win by the boys, lot of troops missing and the guys hung tough and to hold them to a try off a lucky kick was pleasing, last few weeks have started to feel like the Storm of old again, really excited to see what we can do at the back end of the year with a full complement of players on deck, well played guys! ⚡️
