Meaney is right up there amongst our best players in the first 6 rounds. Really growing with confidence, which I think is his biggest issue (and to be fair it would be difficult to come from those dreadful teams and feel confident to assert yourself), he has the tools to be a very good NRL fullback. He will never be Billy or Paps, but he's good enough to affect games in our favour 100%.

The fines sound about right. Tui paying the stupidity tax.
Tuaimalo Vaega was hit with a Grade 2 Shoulder Charge on Cameron Munster and will miss two games with an early guilty plea or three games if he fights the charge and is unsuccessful at the judiciary.
No mention of the cannonball on Munster or the elbow to the jaw of Olam of course.

Here you can see why the "NRL" will never be anything other than a glorified NSW competition. Doesn't matter if Perth are brought back in, or a PI team and/or second NZ team are added.
This sort of shit is one of the reasons why Super League happened. Broncos arcing up about being treated unfairly by head office.

If it had of been us dodging these charges would Hooper and co have been shouting from the rooftops? Will there be nothing this week but the sounds of silence?

I assume you're talking about the rainbow warrior coming in once Olam was on the ground? Can we organise a stadium full of rainbow flags and a chorus of rainbow connection or somewhere over the rainbow for the return game? Rainbow flags with 'aloiai the rainbow warrior ' would be a good touch too. Would surely tick him off.

No, I'm talking about the shot from the back (Manly's try line side) that shows the shoulder/upper arm to Olam's jaw.

Should have been two penalties/reports in that play then...

How about Jake Trbojevic flipping Cameron Munster over the horizontal after he had passed the ball?

Got a penalty and on report. Won’t even face the judiciary. Ridiculous inconsistency.

Trbojevic brothers get away with a lot, especially Jake, because their mates in the media have everyone convinced that it's 'not their go'. Reality, Jake's a grub.
