The media have been banging on about us losing Kenny, Jesse, Fus and cheese, and they have been wonderful players for us (especially Jesse), but 2022 for various reasons wasn't a vintage year for any of them. If it had been we would've gone further into the finals despite the injuries. We might miss the 2020 version of those players but not the 2022.TC wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 2:05 pm Something I loved was that everyone in our starting pack (with the exception of Harry and he can be forgiven) ran for over a hundred metres. Great to have Christian back and he led from the front.
Last year it was a rarity to have more than one or two make the ton, and Jesse (our captain remember) rarely made 75.
Not wanting to be harsh on Kenny or Fus, but I don't think we've lost a lot.

I thought it was interesting that Smith was at the game taking selfies with Welch. I'd always thought he was more focussed on playing with his mates then representing the club.

Was just looking through the stats of the eels game & dam MacDonald is a gun!
Only played 34 minutes & managed 28 tackles & 90 run metres, he has to be on the bench every week.

I think after the year we saw out of him last year, Brandon Smith is really about Brandon Smith.Itzbek the Purple wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 1:37 pmI thought it was interesting that Smith was at the game taking selfies with Welch.
