I would think the majority of deals would have a conversation regarding coming early. And really why wouldn’t you?

I hated watching Cheese this year. I wish the whole signing a season before deal would go.

I really can't understand why Bennett hasn't been reigned in by the NRL this year over the Munster thing. It's one thing to have a discussion about him coming after his current deal, it's another entirely to talk publicly about how you're sure he can get out of his contract to come and play with you a year early.

Because it's what the League wants, it really is that simple. Bend rules for some and rigidly enforce for others.

It is amazing isn't, it no matter what players we have lost - Jesse Bromwich, Kenny Bromwich, Felise Kaufusi and Brandon Smith.

And these players have been replaced by Joe Chan, Tariq Sims and Eli Katoa.

Wasn't it revealed that Jesse Bromwich was on over a million this year?

Got to love Christian Welch. He's 100% correct. The media need to stop pandering to and excusing Wayne Bennett and his flagrant disregard for many rules over the years (some of which he even wrote then pretended not to understand a few months later - cough covid).

And Munster has made a couple of good points too. Almost like the one not being 'manly' was sooky Bennett all along...
