Oh no not Meaney injured too.

I will end my thoughts on the game that Jesse, Munny, Coates, John's didn't lose us the game. Hughes is honestly a 12-16 points per game player either directly or indirectly scored by him. We had a makeshift team. It is what it is.

Anyone thinking we would win this had been sniffing glue all week. Commbank in parra heart land and they r in arousingly good form.

If it the Raiders, it will not be Friday night because the Raiders play Sunday. The NRL will give them more than 5 days turn break.

So, presuming we don't shit the bed vs the Raiders (or less likely, the broncos), we can look forward to the Eels or panthers in week 2..... good times.

Hard season to watch.

Without injuries we are a genuine contender. But just can’t keep the important blokes on the park. We have barely seen Paps in two seasons and without him this year we have been very pedestrian. Gee losing Nicho stings.

Depth is currently shot to bits as well. But we were still good enough to finish in the top four so to end up where we did is bad.

I’d still not want to play the Storm in finals.

Win, lose or draw next week. We can say that the boys have done Melbourne proud with the amount of injuries we've had and still making the finals. Also, what is our compensation for losing so many A grade players next year? I'm expecting us to challenge for the GF again in 2023 if we are properly compensated by the NSWL.

Dissapointing night but the fact we are 5th with the injury toll we've had all season is superb. If we are to win next week then the middles have got to front up from the start.

We could now face a run of Raiders, Eels, Sharks, GF. If we cut out the unforced errors and play to our best, that could be achievable.

He's the ideal size for a winger but I don't see the power, honestly. Him vs Sivo was a complete mismatch.

NAS had a good game playing in the backrow against Penrith. Followed it up with one of his best games of his career against Brisbane and then basically been non-existent these last two games. As much as the fanbase wants to (rightfully at times) rag on Jesse, Nelson can't go missing like he has when we really need it. Smith's form was talked up the other week too but has quickly disappeared. Pretty obvious if those two don't fire the forward pack wont be able to control the game and everything else gets harder.

Munster and Grant were incredible and pretty much played lone hands in trying to make us look respectable. Yea Munster probably does a bit too much at times and in an ideal world he wouldn't be kicking anywhere near as much but we had nothing in attack without either. It's not really his fault at all but Meaney is a ball runner and shouldn't be asked to do anything more. We've really missed that link man with him as the 6.

Here's a sobering thought, if Meaney doesn't get up this week, we'll go into a final with Munster as our goal kicker...

Those stat's say it all really.... the pack were weak as water and let themselves be completely out muscled.
