3 sets at the end on their line to wrap up the game and couldn’t score. Atrocious. Roosters have their premiership Bondi wall defence back.

Look at the list of serious repeated concussions for the Roosters. Almost all of them by getting their heads in the wrong place in tackles.

NRL seriously needs to look at their tackling training.

Friend - retired due to head knocks.
Cordner - retired due to head knocks.
Cleary - repeated
Tedesco - repeated
Collins - repeated
and there's more

Helps when the ref won't call them offside.

A lack of creativity from Melbourne made that look better than it was. Just kept going left on repeat instead of moving it around.

Also this. Spend enough time offside and the ref gives up

Agreed we were predictable and ran average lines at the end.

On another note, I think Nelson is kind of playing like an American muscle car, power and aggression all over the shop but struggles to find direction. I am all for it but hope he can keep a level head.

The stoppages at the end when we were on the attack certainly assisted the Roosters there - they looked out on their feet, particularly before the lengthy stoppage for Radley, but that was enough of a breather for them to get them to the end.

Immature Munster also returned against the Roosters (again), and that killed our last real shot at keeping the ball at that end of the field. Just stupid.

First 30 minutes is what really cost us though.

Yeah, Munster really overplayed his hand at times, he becomes more liability than asset when he gets like that. But being fair, roosters seemed to do a good job of limiting his impact and frustrating him

Yeah, well that's the thing with Munster - in a tough game like that where the ref isn't dishing out penalties/6-agains fairly Munster really starts to regress, starts playing for the penalties and loses his head.

We were pretty slow in general and were made to look worse by the chooks line speed. They did a good job pushing the limit. They’ve got class all over the field and this one could’ve easily been a blowout after the start we had. Disappointed in us not being able to get that last try but pretty happy to see us at least get back into the game.

Hate that we need to win away at Parra next week to get the double chance in the finals.

It's time for the boys to put up or shut up.

Jeez blazza18 what game do you watch?

Toss of a coin game and we didn’t do enough to win it. Especially in the middle.

Must be tougher next week in the middle and start better. Eels are bogey team. Will not be easy

Ref was taking us back 15-16 metres at times and they were only being taken back 7-8. Disgraceful.

The Rorters were never is danger with all their 6's agains! The ref knew this was a must win match to keep their top 8 hoped alive and the rest is history!

wasnt the refs fault we lost this - our forwards got bashed in the first half.
