RIP Michael Purcell

In very sad news Michael Purcell has died following a car accident.
Purcell (aka the Kangaroo Catcher) after starring for the Ipswich Jets signed with the Brisbane Tigers and spent the 2021 pre-season with the Storm. Purcell played in the Storm's Albury trial in 2021.
I watched many of his Queensland Cup games, he had speed to burn and was very entertaining.
