This is absolutely pathetic. No line speed in defence - Manly have all the time in the world to do what they want. Our kicking game is atrocious, again. Only Brandon has had any intensity in his runs - no one else looks like they want to be playing at all. We look so lethargic and uninterested.

Oh, and of course the ref only sees us holding down - Manly (mostly Trbojevic, following on from his unpenalised SOO performance) certainly aren't working in the tackle or throwing a leg in/crowding... :rolleye:

Feel like this is easily our worst defensive team for a good while.

Utter tripe performance

Can’t explain it. The attack in the 1st half off all the ball coughed up by Manly was awful…

Doesn’t get easier - Cronulla next week with no origin players

I'd rather be a Warriors fan right now. Guys I highly recommend ditching this game and watching The Boys on Amazon Prime. This thread is now about The Boys.

I hate to call it but this team’s completely lost its identity.

Even at their worst a few years ago the Storm wouldn’t be leaking tries like this and would fall back on defence and grit to grab a game back.

Everything now is about the cute plays - the attempt at an offload close to the try line, the risky chip kick. None of the fundamentals of running hard, chasing kicks well and showing discipline in defence are there.

None of these guys are showing any passion or desire. This is immensely disappointing and been evident ever since those two losses against Penrith and North Queensland earlier this year.

Very angry.

This shitty N(SW)RL season can get in the bin.

I’m all about the World Cup now.

Too little too late.
Don't let the final score suggest to you how bad the torm performance actually was.

Meaney went to 6 and Ieremia to the wing. NAS just didn't go into the scrum, stayed out in the centres and scored a try after a don't argue. He was otherwise prop.

Very strange to let Paps take two kicks he missed. Meaney takes them it’s 36-34 when Paps score that last try.

Kick for GP!

Sums up the night.

Dross.

At least some effort to the the end
