Was that a perfect game? If not it's bloody close to it.

Hope everyone pulls up perfectly healthy, especially NAS hammy and Reimis

Special 2nd half performance. Tough / 50-50 in the first.

Spine electric. Coates a big step forward.

Hope Remis is ok. Pene should have taken a spell in the bin for that hit…

70 points = club record
22 points from Papenhuyzen moves him past 350 career, past 100 for the season and into 7th all time for the club passing Inglis, Chambers and Vunivalu tonight
Olam scored the 70th point for the night in his 70th game
I think, have to check, that this was Coates' first NRL hat trick

I also believe Nathan Brown has had Storm put 70 on him as a player and as a coach (20 years later), both times the score line was 70-10 I believe?

Yes, that other 70-10 match was at MCG v the Dragons in 2000.

My god… I don’t even know what to say about that second half.

10 tries in 32 minutes.

I can’t recall a second-half like that.

Surely no team has put 54 points on a team in a half before? Let alone in a second-half like that.

No offense to Coates but like how do you watch that game and conclude he was 2nd best on field?

Yeah, Munster, Olam, Grant, Asofa-Solomona, Kenny Bromwich, King, Brandon Smith could all have been there instead, especially Munster and Grant

He scored 4 tries and is a winger and Wendell Sailor was the judge.

I wasn't overly upset but as Mattpoet notes there could have been any of 7 other players there, which is a good problem to have.

Aaron Pene pleaded guilty to high tackle on Reimis Smith and received a one game suspension.

No Storm players charged.
