I agree with Ennis (a rarity), the best description is “impatient”.

Lucky wasn't penalty try against Foxx.

The two tries disallowed for obstruction (one for Cowboys and one for Storm) were horrible.

When Olam made break in middle of half, had a brain fade to tackle Feldt. Think Foxx probably gets to the ball anyway.

How long was Hess held for before he put the ball down?
Olam obviously should have kicked out to the left for JAC rather than trying to basketball it over the top.

And Hess could still be trying to get it down now and the ref wouldn’t have called held yet

Hynes CLEARLY held out in a try scoring situation. Cecchin looking right at it. Refuses to call it.

Then Hughes (intelligently) gets the boys to lay over the Cowboys player to draw a penalty so we can challenge, and Cecchin refuses to even do that. Instead he stops the game to ask the Cowboys player if he is ok???

The worst forward pass non-decision I’ve ever seen. Just disgusting.

Two Cowboys tries off forward passes. That last one was so far forward, the referees need to be questioned.

How timid was Paps on return?

And putrid, biased commentary from Fox. And whilst we’re on the topic, the touchies have essentially eff all to do, the least they could do was to rule on the fifteen forward passes from the Cows tonight. Pfft.

What odds we get Annesley saying the pass was forward and Hynes was held? Fat lot of good it does on Monday

I don’t understand how the bunker doesn’t rule on forward pass tries.

They literally call everything else even when they shouldn’t.

Agree re Olam putting in a kick for Foxx. Mentioned that to a mate.

Here comes the struggle. We have been up for so long and now is the wrong end of the season to start losing form. Very worried now

Brandon was great and played like his usual self. Welch not too far behind either.

Refs were poor for both sides but some real obvious misses gave them way more of a chance of an upset than they rightfully deserved.

Will do Paps the world of good to be out there playing again. He’s going to need to get used to being hit.

Congratulations to Kyle Feldt and Josh Addo-Carr on both scoring their 100th NRL tries.

I don't think we were terrible last night, maybe 10% off. Cowboys threw a lot at us, and the refs had an absolute mare. A win and a wake up call all wrapped up together? I'll take it!

Now that the Origin boys have had their rest and we are getting a few back (NAS and Paps last night with Harry and Eisenhuth to come) I wonder if we will look to give a rest to Brandon, Hughes, Olam and Hynes? They've done a heap of work during these past few Origin-effected weeks.

We just did enough to win. Thats about it. Not every game is a diamond. Some are just unpolished stones. Lots of factors involved.

Penny Panthers and Manly in the next few weeks. We will want to win those games as they are our two biggest rivals for the premiership.
