Panthers proved last year that you can win as many games as you want in a row but if you lose the Grand Final then the season counts for nothing.

We are now in big danger of doing the same thing this year. We need a loss shortly

Will rest the main 17 in round 25 against the Sharks and we'll lose

It must be so hard for deadsh*ts with no life to try and troll a team coming first, dominating the League and destroying records along the way

We need a close game or two, I think that will hold us in good stead. We will see with the Panthers game.

Since Round 4 when our 14 game win streak started, we have scored 40 points on 11 occasions (from 14 games).

Of the three games that we didn't score 40 points;
- We beat the Roosters 20-4 - 16 point margin.
- We beat the Raiders 34-10 - 24 point margin.
- We beat the Titans 20-14 - 6 point margin.

I don't think we "need a loss". That is superstitious nonsense.

1. Panthers didn't prove anything.
2. We aren't in "danger" of anything.
3. You're a flog.

Maybe tonight was the loss we had to have, without actually losing ! Now through the origin period, all Origin boys have had a rest, so hopefully onwards and upwards !

Wasn’t a loss we had to have, it was a reality check.
Something we really needed moving into the business end of the season.

Ideally we need another close game like that before the finals, winning comfortably every week is good until you forgot how to close out and win the tight games cause of how use to you are having such a comfortable lead week in week out.

Paps was rusty and is only going to get better each week, and grant coming back will just had more to our attack. With 6 games to go we still got a lot of improvement in us.

At least the close result gives Bellamy a chance to bring them back to his game plan and to talk about lots of things he would want to say.

We tried to do expansive plays and score off every play in the first half rather than going through the middle and consuming the game

Our attacking line seemed to be disjointed for a lot of the night and we didnt put in sets of six or extensive periods of pressure on the Cowboys.

Craig Bellamy wants to see repeat sets of six and pressure evolve before scoring the try not some sort of easy way - throw the ball out to Ado Carr and hope he can run for half the length of the field. yes, those tries are great when they happen but they shouldn't be your go to play.
