Round 16 - Roosters vs Storm
Thursday 1st July
7:50pm
Sydney Cricket Ground
5th vs 1st.
I forgot about the week off for Origin 2. Sucks that I don't get my weekly fix, but at least it should give the guys a chance to rest up and hopefully recover from injury.

Aww c'mon, how could anyone know these would be two of the best teams? I'd think it's more intentional, both teams would usually be expected to have high origin representation and therefore keeps somewhat of a balance?

I wish players didn’t push the boundaries to play origin.
Guarantee if there was no origin Harry’s first game back from the original hammy only would have been against the Roosters

I agree. But $90K is a hell of a motivator... If you get injured, that's OK - your club salary is guaranteed.Shuttlesworth99 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 1:28 pm I wish players didn’t push the boundaries to play origin.

Hey if someone gave me that sort of money for ‘overtime’ I would do it in a heartbeat as well.yourhero wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 1:51 pmI agree. But $90K is a hell of a motivator... But there needs to be some accountability from the NRL for this type of situation
Even munster. 1 day he has apparently stood on a land mine, the next he is ripe to go for origin.
According to Justin Rodski on SEN, this game may be moved away from the SCG due to it falling in a COVID hotspot, which would prevent us returning to Melbourne.
Contingency planning underway...
I assume it just moves up the road somewhere in Sydney. Hopefully that happens and it throws the Roosters off their game a bit.

Not complaining. Half an hour away from me. And Marathon (or whatever they're calling it now - Macdonald Jones?) is a good ground to watch at.sallymay wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 4:19 pm https://www.roosters.com.au/news/2021/0 ... l-fixture/
Moved to Newcastle
Just an annoyance it's on a school night, but I'll be there anyway.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
