Yeah, it was dumb - but not really anything in it.
To be honest, I thought Cleary's one was a tiny bit worse but the Fox Sports press immediately wrote defensive articles about how Cleary's legs were being held, just trying to get him off and essentially the QLD player 'got what he deserved'
Followed by 6 articles about Munster's push with his shin...

Yeah, f**king typical biased reporting - apparently it was Arrow's fault that Cleary kicked out at him for holding onto his legs too long (also, it's void because Arrow is a known dirty player anyway), but a dog act from Munster to kick out at Martin for holding on too long (and Munster is a dirty player anyway)... and the NRL obviously agreed, not even fining Cleary. FMD.
The tail wags the dog in the NRL. Always has. Probably always will.
