Collectively as a club, in 2021 we are kicking at 64%. Which is atrocious.

Paps is 24/29 - hitting them very well pre-injury and a very respectable 82.8%

JAC is 1/1 and 100%
Munster is 15/29 and 51.7%
Nicho is 1/5 and 20%

So since Paps has been out, we are 17/35 and 48.6% :shock2:

Haven't even had origin yet which is the scary part with all these injuries. The back end of the season is going to be rough.

Melbourne's top-rated attack, No.1 for both points and tries, opens up opposing defences at almost double the rate of Canberra. The Storm rank No.1 for line breaks with 74 while the Raiders are a distance ninth in that category on 44.

With Melbourne continuing to pour on the points despite losing key players coach Craig Bellamy is in a pretty good place. Even the blow of losing gun No.1 Ryan Papenhuyzen and back-up hooker Tyson Smoothy is balanced out by the hot form of Nicho Hynes and the return of hooker Brandon Smith.

Injuries and suspensions are going to play a significant factor in deciding the Premiership, more than ever in 2021.

All it takes is a lazy arm bouncing off a ball and hitting someone in the head and a team could be without star players for almost the entire Finals series.

You could argue that in regards to suspensions, the teams that adapt best to the new rules will be best placed - but it is the NRL, accidental contact is always going to happen. Most reasonable fans don't want to see star players rubbed out from massive games over minor indiscretions.

It is amazing with the stats that we have the most points in first 10 rounds that fans from Sydney on social media still call the Storm boring.

Can't have watched one of our games for 4 or 5 years.

Haters just holding onto their preferred narrative. Sydney fans hatred of Melbourne (and certain sections of the media feeding that) has never been steeped in facts. The entire 'wrestle' conversation is evidence of that.

In my limited interaction with NSW rugby league fans....I've generally found them to be the least objective and informed when it comes to Melbourne Storm (moreso that NZ or Qld supporters). We took their game and perfected it....it makes them lima lima lima duck insane with rage...

Haters gonna hate. The Sydneycentric media narrative is totally anit-Storm on every front possible. The drive the hate by Sydney people including talking about Super League when talking about our foundation. They hate if we have any success and will do anything to bring us down including getting Cameron Smith cited before the 2008 Manly Grand Final

Chris Lewis to start at No6. Ryley Jacks out with concussion.

Raiders team: 1. Caleb Aekins 2. Bailey Simonsson 3. Sebastian Kris 4. Curtis Scott 5. Semi Valemi 6. Sam Williams 7. George Williams 8. Dunamis Lui 9. Tom Starling 10. Emre Guler 11. Corey Harawira-Naera 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Hudson Young 14. Brad Schneider 15. Ryan Sutton 16. Corey Horsburgh 17. Ryan James 18. Matthew Timoko 19. Iosia Soliola 20. Siliva Havili 21. Harry Rushton

Storm team: 1. Nicholas Hynes 2. George Jennings 3. Reimis Smith 4. Justin Olam 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Chris Lewis 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Brandon Smith 10. Christian Welch 11. Felise Kaufusi 12. Kenneath Bromwich 13. Dale Finucane 14. Aaron Pene 15. Tui Kamikamica 16. Tom Eisenhuth 17. Nelson Asofa-Solomona 18. Aaron Booth 19. Cooper Johns 20. Trent Loiero 21. Dean Ieremia

Surely our forward pack will dominate. If we have any injuries or concussion to 8.7 or 9 we might be in trouble.

I reckon either Johns plays or Kenny will be 5/8

It's so stupid when coaches name teams like Bellamy has these last two weeks.

Johns would keep the rest of the team in their normal positions.

I deadset want to see Johns playing but, why not have another forward at 6? As listed Nicho will come in and play the 6 position when it suits and drop back to fullback in defence. I suppose Dean Ieremia would need to find his way on to the bench as a cover for wing / fullback anshuffle the rest from there. If as listed Kenny moves to hooker to share the load with Brandon and Lewis provides the extra forward. Game on!
