49:00,
They were both really obvious passing situations. We probably get at worst 20+ metres further up the field in both instances. Don't think it was him being selfish at all but he's gotta learn to trust his outside man more.

Since the first two games, Reimis has just got better and better each week. He was very good again yesterday. Definitely still improvement there, but he has become a real threat on that right edge.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate that pass from Hughes back on the inside to Hynes in the lead up to one of JAC's tries??? That was incredible. The presence to feel the defence breathing down his neck and then to just tap it back perfectly for Hynes to be in open space... Then Hughes never game up on the play and managed to get the ball back, beat a couple of defenders and thread the needle with a kick out wide. One of the best tries of 2021.

Reimis is travelling nicely. He will make the odd mistake but genuinely he has added another dimension to our team.

It would have almost been easier for NRL to list Dragons not charged.

Josh McGuire facing 5 to 7 weeks for hip drop on JAC and fined for high shot on Justin Olam;
Mikaele Ravalawa facing 2 to 3 weeks for shoulder charge;
Tyrell Fuimaona facing 5 to 6 weeks for high shot on Ryan Papenhuyzen; and
Tariq Sims 1 to 2 weeks for hip drop on Tyson Smoothy.

Christian Welch facing a fine for dangerous contact on Blake Lawrie.

The horrible team assault the Dragons tried to inflict on our Storm is the exact reason the NRL are increasing penalties

So McGuire can potentially get 7 weeks but not ten in the bin?
Did I blink and miss the Welch incident?

How on Earth did McGuire not get sent for the hip drop tackle? Injured a player through foul play and this was after he had already been sin-binned. With all the hoopla over the weekend crackdown, they certainly let this one slide.

I am very pleased the judiciary has thrown the book at this mob. McGuire absolutely should have been sent off, and Sims to the bin.

No idea re Welch incident. At least it is only a fine ( though glad I don’t have to pay that kind of money ! ) . I thought Felise more likely to cop a fine, but that was not forthcoming.

Will be interesting to see what Kent and Hooper say on 360 tonight - will they seek to defend the Dragons ? Totally indefensible. Fuimaona put one of the game’s stars in Disneyland, and the other 3 have form in relation to their conduct.

Kenty is on board with the head high crack down.

Harps will be fired up.

They will crap on for half an hour about it and get no resolution from their debate.

Max King was referred straight to the judiciary for a hip drop tackle late last year and faced an intense media barrage, with Brandy "flog" Alexander going as far to say during commentary that King "intended to injure Blake Lawrie" in the tackle and Mark Geyer saying that it "looked premeditated".

So far there has been precisely ZERO stories dedicated to the Dragons hip drop tackles that actually injured two Storm players, one looking at between 2-9 months lay-off pending the need for surgery.

"Staff Writers" at Fox Sports did run a story about the Dragons being "decimated" by charges though :roll:

I can't believe there has been nothing written about Storm having no sin binned or reported players during the match. I know Welch was since charged and fined, but really that is very small compared to what happened on the weekend. I am waiting for the stories about how Storm are a "protected" team.

I'll just leave this here:

Dragons general manager Ben Haran said:
It must be said that our players don't intentionally go out to hurt the opposition. Our players' integrity should not be questioned in this respect
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
