If you even touch the head in a tackle, you have a duty of care and can be put on report and charged with a high tackle

they are the new rules, post concussion crisis in contact sports around the world now.

I know you are trying... but that is not the "new rule". Incidental contact with the head will happen in almost every single tackle. Either through hands/arms/upper body.

An Unnecessary Contact head/neck charge is not a "high tackle" and has very little to do with the concussion issue. With the Kaufusi example, no relevance at all.

ok, its a stricter interpretation if you want to jump to semantics. Brandon Smith was percieved to have touched Damon cook's head in the tackle and Cook stayed down. thats all that needs to happen now.

its happened all season with any time the head has contact and look, they dont get all of them but once it is passed on to the judiciary, it is a duty of care issue and they are making an example of it.

as for Kaufusi, agree with it or not, it is a Sydney based system and after trial by media, they are still trying to catch up with him for the perceived low grading of his last indiscretion.

Side notes:
Starting to look hard for Brenko Lee to find his way in.
Still tossing up between Hynes and Eisenhuth for the 17.
Agree, I like Brenko but it is looking increasingly difficult for him to force himself back in.
