Hi All,

As mentioned in another thread, myself and my mate have started a podcast.

We started this as we felt that so much of the rugby league media is focused on the teams north of the border, Storm hardly get a mention all week despite being on of the powerhouses of the league. So we wanted to provide an unofficial, fan driven podcast. We are by no means experts, just long time fanatics of the Storm. It’s meant to be light-hearted and off the cuff, like two guys talking at the pub.

We are trying to get it down to under 30 minutes, as we realise 45ish minutes is a little too long. We may also post certain segments of each episode and package them in 5-10 minute clips. We’ll gladly take any feedback/comments/questions as we are trying to make this for the fans.

I'm the same. I follow the relevant Storm groups on social media but prefer the format of a forum. I also think the comments are more considered here. You get a lot of "Whoo! Go team" on socials with little desire for analysis or debate.

Pretty decent group on here too especially some of the long termers who feel like they've been around forever.

Ah yes, the Western Reds. Their biggest contribution to the NRL was probably providing much of our original list.

Yep, another big chunk of our 98 squad came from the Hunter Mariners. I mean, it makes sense, your club's finished up in 97 and there's a new club entering in 98. I might look at the Mariners next week.
