Now that Mason is set to notch up a lengthy stint on the sidelines due to injury, he has fulfilled one of the requirements of being a Storm recruit... I think it is rather nice of him to get it out of the way before coming to the Storm though - most wait until they get to Melbourne before pulling out a major injury!

FoxSports news tonight says Mason is very likely to stay after a positive meeting with coach Folkes.

Uh huh, well it is all well and good that to hear that the problems these two faced two years ago have been sorted out ... but a positive meeting with the coach? How does that equal re-signing? I refuse to be optimistic about him staying until I hear about positive meetings with Noad and Peponis.
