The following applies to ALL games of rugby league sanctioned by each RL governing body in the country.
• Condemn all violent or illegal acts, whether they are by players, coaches, officials, parents or spectators.
• Respect the referee’s decisions – don’t complain or argue about calls or decisions during or after a game.
• Behave! Unsportsmanlike language, harassment or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Encourage players to play by the rules and to respect opposition players and officials.
• Never ridicule or scorn a player for making a mistake – respect their efforts.
• Understand that sport is part of a total life experience, and the benefits of involvement go far beyond the final score of a game.
• Participate in positive cheering that encourages the players in the team you are supporting; do not engage in any cheering that taunts or intimidates opponents, their fans or officials.
• Remember that children participate in Rugby League for their own enjoyment, not yours!
• At all times, follow the directions of the Ground Manager and/or other match day staff.
• Never arrive at a Junior League game under the influence of alcohol, never bring alcohol to a Junior League game, and only drink alcohol, if it is available at the ground, in the designated licensed area. Be a positive role model. Children learn best by example.
Repeated breaches of the code will result in ejection of the offender from the game. Clubs are responsible for the players, administrators, as well as home ground spectators and clubs will be fined, docked points, suspended or expelled from the competition for repeated failure to control the crowd.

Are we supposed to be mindless automatons under big brother?   some of these are just laughable.

Bugger. If it's Steven Clarke I'll be picking myself up in Swan St before the first set of six is finished.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Hmm, I sure hope they are never fully enforced or I'll never be allowed to a Rugby League game.

If you think you'd be screwed, imagine the Bulldogs. They'd be kicked out of the competition for sure.

There is actually a full Code of Conduct that they are trying to get all Bulldogs fans to sign which is triple the length of that.

There is no way they can fully enforce these rules ... if they kicked out everyone who jeered and or ridiculed an opponent for making a mistake or yelled abuse at the ref for a poor decision we will end up with no body at the matches except the players an officials.

Players and officials? Quite a few of those would be kicked out as well.

this sucks...basically rules out freedom of speech...they play this game infront of a crowd...they gotta expect people to criticise them i they go bad ...and to compliment them when they go good..

I know why this has come about. It's not about Dogs fans at all, it's about protecting Shayne Hayne from our very own Julie.

I think you'll find this code of conduct is more aimed at junior games
Storming our way to glory!

Hahaha yeah I can just see it: Hodges mouths off at an opponent and the next minute security are on the field and escorting him out of the ground ... a team mate makes a negative comment about his stupidty and security are back on the field "okay, you're coming with us too"

I wonder how they would have reacted to Nathan Brown's captain slapping too!
