I guess there focusing all there efforts on the memberships at the moment
Doesn't take long to cut and paste a Herald - Sun report and credit it. 2 minutes absolute tops.Looney wrote:I guess there focusing all there efforts on the memberships at the moment
It'd only take 5 to write one from scratch and put it there.
A far cry from the days when it was rated the top sports website in Oz.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

I sure hope they aren't paying tons of money for the site.
Karl deKroo writes for the Herald Sun, the Herald Sun is owned by News Ltd, Storm are owned by News Ltd. Why don't they put his articles up on the website?

While it seems odd that they can't even list the score, it isn't the only official club website with no account (not even a score!) of the trial match just played.
I am certain that most clubs employ the wrong people to run their websites ... being the Rugby Legaue forum addict that I am I am aware that fans who have a very good computer knowledge and are quite capable to running websites are on the net 24/7. As such they could offer up to the minute news on the club. I get the impression that some clubs rather hire professional website creators rather than highly computer literate fans. This means the news reports muct be given to ta third party to be updated and as a result the official sites lag behind the unoffical forums such as this.

I have to agree, I'm trying convice acouple of companies to stay corpoate members of the club and yet there is now update of the new players, and they can't evern get some of the companies names correct.
Now before people complain. Two of these organisations spend close two 200,000 with AFL club and would transfer some (if not all) of that money towards our club and sport.
Lets hope the website is update quickly

All the ppl who are so upset about the website and are expert website creaters why not create a storm site and start listing all the news there.

According to the Website the team is still on the end of season trip, and the poll is the same one from about 4 months ago about how we went last season! How shocking.
Glory, Glory to South Sydney!
And another little secret for the site:
If you click the season 2004 button you can get the 2005 schedule
If you click the season 2004 button you can get the 2005 schedule
Thanks for the tip Looney
I checked it (not that I didn't trust you ) and sure enuf 2005 popped up.
You'd think that when they uploaded the draw they would have thought of changing that little thing but no - god knows what's going on in there these days.

OOPS
I just went to the 'membership page' http://www.melbournestorm.com.au/newmember.php & in the firefox browser it appears on my PC as white text on white background ie: invisible text
Just to check I tried the IE browser..........Purple background - white text..................No problem.
Anyone else find this with Firefox or other browsers ?
