Did Howarth get bench? He rushed up and slipped which led to the second try.

Treymain Spry fends off a feeble tackle from Grant Anderson to set up Toby Sexton for a try. Seagulls 24-0. 13 minutes left before half time.

And I thought last night was bad. Wow.

Not sure. He was already off when I turned it on. I thought he might be injured again.

Nice last tackle pass close to the line from Tyson Smoothy to Jack Gibbons. Smoothy conversion. Seagulls 24-6.

Falcons fullback Luke Polselli drops a bomb when there wasn't a Seagull within 20 or 30 metres of him.

Some great play from Luke Polselli, Sua Fa'alogo and Grant Anderson but unfortunately Polselli lost the ball.

Sideline reporter just said Jack Howarth has been feeling fatigued recently and is unlikely to come back on.

Surely if he has felt fatigued recently poor athlete welfare if we have kept playing him.

Good run from Moeroa to go close under the post. Then some great hands from Cooper Johns, Sua Fa'alogo and particularly Young Tonumaipea sets up Will Warbrick for a spectacular try out wide. Warbrick now leading try scorer this season for Falcons.

Great conversion from Tyson Smoothy. Seagulls 24-12.

Lovely short ball from Cooper Johns to put former Storm player Louis Geraghty over the line. Tyson Smoothy conversion. Seagulls 24-18. 6 minutes to go.

Sua Fa'alogo makes a great kick return. On the next play Atkinson twice, Gibbons twice, Anderson and Polselli twice sees Polselli score and Smoothy converts. Scores level.

Seagulls could not take kick-off in golden point and trapped in goal. Seagulls try short goal line dropout doesn't go 10 metres. Smoothy kicks penalty goal from right in front.

Unbelievable comeback from the Falcons. Into the preliminary final.

Tepai Moeroa awarded Player of the Match.
