I haven't heard much about Nicho Hynes (or I've missed it) but I thought he looked impressive at the back, even taking into consideration how poor South Logan's defense was, and Harry Grant surely must be a priority signing by the Storm to keep him in their system.

But seriously, given how good the Falcons have been going this year (and how poorly the Magpies have been going), how was this game chosen as the Falcon's first televised game for the year?! Don't get me wrong, it was great to see them run riot, but the fight should've been stopped at half time at 42-0 (which could've been worse had Butter Fingers Earl not bombed his first try).

He is killing it but I think we will be hard pressed to retain him... He is currently third string in Melbourne but a viable first choice hooker at a number of NRL clubs. Fingers crossed we can keep him because he is a gun.

For those people who don't live in Queensland and don't get the Qld Cup live. The Souths Logan v Sunshine Coast Falcons is on the 9 Now app and will be replayed on Fox League at 9am Wednesday morning.

Walters, P. Kaufusi, Grant and Tino were all named for QLD Residents. But the former 3 have all been withdrawn. I wonder if that is simply precautionary.
