Awful news for Dean and hope he makes a full and quick recovery but seriously Nick Meaney should 100% be in the starting 13 every week.

Tom Eisenhuth's return has been delayed a week as he has tested positive to COVID.

Sua Fa'alogo has tested positive to COVID and Will Warbrick will miss this weekend as he is a close contact.

Thanks Scooter. If Christian could get back for the finals ( even if just weeks 3 and 4) that would be immense . I am sure he is doing everything in his power to give himself a chance

Reimis being out will make it difficult for us to win the premiership.

From the outside looking in, that is so frustrating regarding Reimis.

Should have he been training that hard? The answer is obviously yes as the docs would have approved it, but the mind wanders when you’re not in the know.

As our injury list continues to grow, read on for the latest update on how our players are recovering.

Ryan Papenhuyzen (knee): After suffering a fractured patella (kneecap) in the Raiders game, Paps underwent surgery on Monday afternoon. He is not expected to be available again this season.

Xavier Coates (ankle): Xavier has resumed running as his rehab from surgery following Origin I continues. He is expected back in round 22.

Tepai Moeroa (shoulder): The forward has been cleared to start contact work this week, moving him closer to a return to the field.

Tom Eisenhuth (calf): Tom made a successful comeback for the Brisbane Tigers on Sunday, playing 53 minutes off the interchange bench.

Trent Loiero (back): Trent’s back issues have kept him from being part of regular training, although there has been some improvement in recent days. No indication yet on when he can return to playing.

Grant Anderson (elbow): The rookie back is a chance to play this week with a decision to be made closer to the weekend.

Will Warbrick (quad): Will is likely to miss another week with a final call to made after a check of his fitness later in the week.

Jack Howarth (shoulder): Jack will test out his shoulder this week and is 50-50 to play this weekend.

Reimis Smith (pec): Out for the season after reinjuring his pec muscle.

Christian Welch (achilles): Storm’s captain continues his rehab from his round one ruptured achilles.

George Jennings (knee): Unavailable until next year.
