With the Origin boys out, there will be anywhere between 4 and 7 for Qld (Slater, Chambers, Cronk, Smith, Munster, Glasby and Kaufusi). I also wonder with Frizell under an injury cloud if Finucane is a chance for NSW (although I doubt it). Hopefully we get two or three players back from injury.
Here is a possible team for Saturday night:
1 Jahrome Hughes
2 Suilasi Vunivalu
3 Cheyse Blair / Young Tonumaipe'a / Justin Olam
4 Curtis Scott
5 Josh Addo-Carr
6 Ryley Jacks
7 Brodie Croft
8 Jesse Bromwich
9 Slade Griffin
10 Nelson Asofa-Solomona
11Kenny Bromwich
12 Tohu Harris
13 Dale Finucane
14 Jordan McLean
15 Joe Stimson
16 Mark Nicholls
17 Nate Myles / Harry Grant / Tommy Butterfield

Other available players: Charlie Galo, Jeremy Hawkins, Tui Kamikamica, Robbie Rochow, Scott Drinkwater.

I would think if Jacks is still injured that Hughes will play at 6 and Tonumaipe'a at full back. I know (depending on our second tier salary cap) there is a chance Harry Grant may debut off bench Saturday. I was also wondering based on our second tier cap whether Craig might opt for a hooker with more (albeit Qld Cup) experience in Tommy Butterfield. Butterfield played last week for Easts Tigers but not yesterday. Don't know if he is injured or if Craig requested he be put on ice. Or Bellamy could opt for Kenny to be the back up hooker.

Something else I just thought of is who is the goalkicker assuming Munster plays Origin? Stimson and when he is off Harris?

Hope we have a better option than Kenny as backup hooker.

Blazza18 here are our hookers in first grade squad:
C Smith (Origin), B Smith (long term injury), Griffin (will be number 9 on Saturday), Turpin (long term injury).

So unless we include someone like Grant from Under 20s or someone like Butterfield from Tigers or Falcons, Kenny could be it.

In some other news, Jesse Bromwich (corked calf) and Tohu Harris (back) are both in some doubt for Saturday night. Cheyse Blair may return from injury but Jordan McLean won't as he injured his hamstring last week.

 Calm the f*ck down!

Hopefully McLean's hamstring is Ok and no significant damage. We desperately need him... His constant hamstring issues is one thing I won't miss.

I agree with yourhero. We need Jordan in our best 17, to win the thing this year. Glad we have Myles and Rochow now to help with depth, but McLean is clearly one of our best 4 props.

We are going to need jacks, jesse and tohu to b fit this week obviously, so on the basis of them being ok I hope we go something like this
1. Hughes
2. Vunivalu
3. Blair
4. Scott
5. Addo carr
6. Jacks
7. Croft
8. J.Bromwich
9. Griffen
10. NAS
11. Kaufusi
12. Harris
13. Finucane
14. K.Bromwich
15. Myles
16. Stimson
17. Nicholls

I think that's not a bad line up considering how many we have out. Hopefully Blair is fit otherwise we can play Young in the centres. Or if jacks isn't fit we can move Hughes to 5/8 and young in at fullback.

Settle down, mate. I suppose you think Tohu is a traitor as well.

He's just doing what's best for himself.
