Besides the one 5 day turnaround (FFS, it's not hard to avoid these) in back to back away games, I really can't complain too much about the rest. Probably our best draw to finish the regular season in years.
Four Saturdays in a row.
Away to the Knights, then two home games to finish the regular season.
Gives us a good run into the finals.

Wests Tigers get four fta games in the final 6 weeks (3 Sundays in a row and a Fridays night) when they are zero chance of a top 8 finish.
Dogs who are a maybe (at best) get 5!!!!!
Eels - who are only vaguely better than the dogs get 5 as well.
Broncos get 5; no surprise there
Panthers who will be thereabouts get 3.
Knights get 2 - against Raiders and eels. Won't they be fun?
Storm get one - a Friday night.
Sharks get a single Friday.
Roosters get nothing!
Dude, this is seriously f*%#ed up right here.

We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Why the surprise? The broadcasters pay a lot of money for the scheduling rights and want to maximise their potential and will therefore seek the highest viewing audiences. No different to Channel 7 and the scheduling of the gAyFL.
Agreed totally it sucks for us and our brand but the realities are.

That's what happens when you let the tv stations dictate who plays when. Until the NRL grows some balls and take back control of the scheduling nothing will changeTC wrote:Wests Tigers get four fta games in the final 6 weeks (3 Sundays in a row and a Fridays night) when they are zero chance of a top 8 finish.

Can't really blame the networks or the nrl for wanting the higher rating teams on the two big prime time nights. But I also think they need some common sense when it comes to putting teams like the Tigers or Dogs on all the time. Both teams are boring and not good.
