Pretty much agree with those teams Mattpoet. Although I'm not really a fan of Griffin, would like to see Brandon Smith get a run on the bench instead. Or if he's still injured someone like Stimson

Munster? On the wing?

That's like feeding a side of porterhouse to your dog. An absolute waste.

Oh, and Addo-Carr over Young.

How is that a waste? My dog loves porterhouse. Especially when it's washed down with organic free-trade coconut water.

I do think Munster would need to get more ball than what he would on the wing so it would only work if there was some sort of job-sharing arrangement with him and Billy like the Mini/RTS setup at the Roosters a few years ago.

I'd personally like our backline to look like

1. Billy
2. Suli
3. Chambers
4. Munster
5. Scott
6. Croft
7. Cronk

It's a pipe dream for round 1, but maybe some time this season.

I'd personally like to see Billy retire, Munster to 1 and Croft to 6.

I'll accept nothing less than another premiership before Cam retires and for this to happen we should put our best team on the park and not worry about the sentiment of playing Billy for the sake of playing Billy.

Croft is really putting the pressure on. If he has to wait past this season then other teams will be kicking down the door to take him.
Good halves are rare and he looks every bit the goods so Bellamy better find a spot for him quickly because he looks ready.

Could Croft start his career as a utility off the bench like Coops did? Perhaps a similar role to Hampton in 2016?

I agree re Brodie Croft off the bench. Craig's structure allowed for Ben Hampton off the bench , so you'd think Croft could slot into that role. It does rely on Kenny and Finucane playing big minutes ( as KP did - and we know Jesse and Tohu will ), as he will only have three big boppers on the bench, but Croft also offers insurance if there is a mid game backline injury , or if Billy needs a rest and Munster has to swing to Full back

It's got to the point where I kinda want Billy to get injured and retire so Croft can play 6 and Munster 1....selfish me

Wow...

I hope Billy comes back in and carves up. If he is legitimately fit, we have an abundance of depth, experience and an immense squad that should take us close to the big dance once again.

~$1M in salary cap (plus everthing else Slater brings to the team) sitting on the sidelines is not in our best interests. Not even close.

Wanting someone to get injured is pretty low.

So Tohu Harris is out for about 8 weeks. Sucks. Guess Bromwich and Kaufusi both get a starting spot now.
