So, I was watching Ian Flemings Thunderball the other night and it occurred to me that Cameron Smith bore a very strong resemblance to Sean Connery. (Or is it that Sean Connery bares a strong resemblance to Cameron Smith!) This got me thinking, Cameron Smith, suave and debonair, with his polish and mannerisms, well spoken abilities and his quietly confident air with a sense of mischievousness I would think the producers of the James Bond franchise would need to look no further for their new Bond. (Not sure what his wife would think about it!)

Could anybody else see the similarities?

Fair call- and judging by the way Cameron's hair is retreating he will be bald like old Sean in a few years ( not that there is anything wrong with that ) ! Also I am not sure if the Bond scripts would allow James to say "yeah mate " in Cameron's very Aussie accent . Having said that, there has already been one Aussie James Bond - George Lazenby, so there is a precedent .

Just voted for Cam in the (Australian Kangaroos) Captains' Captain competition that Men of League are running. He is one of 12 nominees.
