The one Billy is wearing in promotional shots is different. I'd prefer the one he's wearing.

This jersey seems to address pretty much every complaint people had about last year's home jersey. More purple, more Vs than anyone could ask for and lightning (albeit realistic lightning). I'd like to see the jersey get a run exactly as is - without a charity sponsor ironed on over the top (which I'm sure is what will happen).

In the future I'd like to see something like the Napier jersey worn for the Nines. A great way to acknowledge our NZ fans and past and present NZ players.

Definitely looks better with the brighter lightening bolt. I don’t know, just seems to be missing something.

Heritage (based on the 2000 World Club Challenge jersey):

Not sure exactly where these images came from but they were on Twitter.

Heritage is quite nice - and it's nice that it's something different for a change. Not the first time this jersey has been worn for heritage round, though - it was also worn in 2010 but as far as I'm aware it was never available at retail.

The collar needs to be white or yellow. Otherwise it's fantastic.

Okay, maybe quite nice is an understatement.

I like how despite being one of the youngest clubs in the league we're still probably the only club that insists on a traditional collar for heritage round.

An updated look at the Nines jersey:

Image

Footy Home Loans is the sponsor for the Nines weekend. The only thing that I can find online is that it's a trademark owned by a Melbourne company called My Local Broker. I would assume it's a brand launching soon and partnering with us to get some quick exposure. Also looks like the Suzuki logos have been swapped for Suzuki Vitara branding.

I'm glad we have an actual sponsor for the Nines this year. At least that's money coming into the club instead of donating the front of jersey position to charity.

Looks better with a sponsor. Wasn't keen on it as a plain jersey. Do we know if it will be available in retail version?

There's an eBay store selling the WIL and heritage jerseys yet not available through the club yet. Odd.
