Round 7 - Storm vs Raiders
Jessie was enormous once again... Jessie and maybe Tohu, were the only forwards to be regularly poking their nose through the line and making metres after first contact.
J Bromwich
17 Runs
158 Metres
28 Tackles
2 Tackle Breaks
3 Offloads
0 Penalties Conceded
0 Errors
The wife, who has very little idea about Rugby League, asked at one point, "Why don't the rest of them run hard like Jessie?". Ha. It's not as simple as that but it shows the glaring gap in quality between Jessie and our other metre-eating forwards.

He has a spur in his foot witch plays up a bit it a week to week injury
I would have to agree with you blazza. Just makes me mad, when the other team gets the dud call we hear: like the dragons and 0.6 seconds about all week even on Melbourne news shows. But Melbourne gets the dud call twice now, ( more if you count the Procter try) and no one hears about it.
Is that something that a week off would fix or is he pretty much stuck with it? I admit I don't know much about spurs. Thanks for the info.JimmyThunder wrote:Mattpoet wrote:What was the injury, do you know?

They are horrible things. They linger and they hurt like crazy at certain times, especially when taking those first few steps in the morning.Mattpoet wrote:Is that something that a week off would fix or is he pretty much stuck with it? They will linger for the season unless he has surgery, which would mean a lengthy stint out anyway.
Last week the refs were wrong..Storm win and what an outcry.. this week refs got it right Storm lose,,,silence is deafening.

At least we all know that we're supporting the right team
I just hope we're all still here come finals time.... we've been through worse times that's for sure! As inept as the nrl are - the Storm will collectively rise above!
