Fine. Then all horizontal tackles regardless of outcome should be judged accordingly starting this weekend.steaming stormer wrote:NRL counsel asking for grade 3-4. Without the tragic outcome, that tackle is at worst a grade 1

That is ridiculous given that they were told not to consider the injury. Without the injury it has clearly been exemplified by this weeks round of games that that tackle would not have even been a penalty.

nah, they weren't too consider the injury in deciding if he was guilty of a dangerous throw... once found guilty the injury was going to be factored in. 6 additional weeks is what they're asking forbrisbanestorm wrote:That is ridiculous given that they were told not to consider the injury. agreed. This sets the bar for ALL future tackles beyond the horizontal. Without exception.LESStar58 wrote:Fine. Guilty of contributing to an accidental injury. Nice.
NRL counsel are asking for a penalty of seven to 11 weeks. They submit the charge should be considered as a grade three dangerous throw which carries 525 points and a further 600 points for the seriousness of the injury to McKinnon.
ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME!???
NRL seeking 11 weeks is beyond a f*cking joke. The NRL is still a Mickey Mouse, amatuer competition run by f*cking morons.

Should have saved him and the Storm team a flight and just mailed the predetermined verdict and sentence. F*cking amateurs.

What a joke everyone in the media is saying grade 1 or no charge and the NRL want a maximum of 17 weeks for a tackle that is just on horizontal and has two other player in it. While over two a game get away with nothing what about others that where in that game alone. For f##k sake no wonder people blow up. It better be two week at best or the NRL should find themselves in court with our new owners.
