well not sure how rushing in helps.  if there was an over-lap, like i said was due to sam tag also rushing in. when you get the two outside backs on that side both rushing in ofcourse it is going to be 3-4 players over lap...rushing in is good when it comes off...if you try it 4-5 times in a game and it does not work for you then surely you would re-think what you are doing in defence and maybe change game plan. i dont want to be too hard on him it was his first game...was just stating the obvious that he let two tries in that could have been prevented.

Rushing in is usually fine if you actually make the damn tackle (Quinn is normally quite good at this) - too many times the Titans' ball-runners were simply bumping off our ineffective tackles or offloading the ball.  The one on one tackling was appalling at times - we were just lucky the Titans were playing pretty crap themselves...

but if our one on one defence was that bad, surely we need to then give our scramble defence a wrap... otherwise they'd have run up a score. 
The other thing with a side like that, the players have little to no combinations with their inside/outside man meaning the trust is not as intrinsic as it normally is with our side.
Move on, rest up with the bye and come out in the back half of the year firing
