Mstorm1999 wrote: Thu Aug 12, 2021 9:18 pm Bellamy has been saying is his press conferences that they are slowly giving paps more time but that’s far from the truth. This is his 4th game back playing the same minutes. We only have 3 more games to go, paps needs more minutes to get more confidence his not gunna get there bringing him on in the second half every game.

His come on with less minutes this week then last week..
But how do you justify giving Nicho less minutes? Makes no sense
Paps at his best is a better fullback then nicho, simple. Paps won’t get back to his best getting 35 minutes a game 4 games in a row. It’s just logic.

Pretty concerned by how much our last two opponents have gotten away in the ruck. Not going full tin foil hat here but they’re getting away with a ton and it’s no surprise we’ve really struggled at times getting out of our own half.

Gotta sort out that right edge defensively. Gotta make the tough decision on what we’re doing with Hynes and Paps.

We're definitely missing go forward from our big guys - we should be right once we've got NAS & Tui back in the mix, but I don't know what our bench is going to look like once they're both fit; Grant, Paps, NAS & Tui?

There was no such thing as offside tonight for Canberra. Their entire 17 could have stood at marker and Sutton would have allowed it.

A couple of hard fought wins are good for our character though.

We didn't just beat Canberra tonight, we beat the ref and the bunker as well!! Not our best effort, but that's 18 wins in a row and we'll take it.

Bloody hell Deano makes some bad decisions on the wing, it’s unfortunate for him that every time he does we get scored against - a lot of the time other players seem to get away with them

Huge shot on Jahrome at the end - good to see him walk off though. Will be sore

Its better to play tough games like that then walk over teams

Raiders took shots at us all night and we came through it and actually relished the toughness

We should be proud of ourselves.

Hughes no facial injuries just concussion

Yes, his offense is great but his defense is terrible.

Dean rushes in all the time.

We need Jennings just to help out on the defense because teams like the Roosters will just go to Deans side all the time

Pause at 3 minutes 51 seconds, first try, who gets the ball? Looking at the position of our defenders, Kafusi comes across late to pressure Wighton, Hughes should therefore slide across to get Young, Reimis slides for Croker and Dean gets the winger. BUT, Kafusi gets there late (by what happened inside), Hughes didn't (couldn't due to Kafusi getting there late) slide out and therefore overlap created. You could argue Dean made the wrong choice but he had to mark the inside man and at 3'51' who's to know who will get the ball?

46'44" second try, Reimis looking inside and left Dean high and dry, who does Dean tackle?

54'30", third try, no excuse, Dean should've caught the ball. (Or if you're gunna kick at it kick the living daylights out of it and get on your bike)
