just turned on the tv to see ryan pooley score a brilliant diving dry, getting pushed over the sideline in the air and got it down. but easts are behind early 8-12 just before half time

That was a ripping try by Pooley. Unfortunately the Tigers came up just short (3 points) in a ripping match. Dave Taylor starred for Tweed Heads.

Tim Glasby was the only Storm first grade player who played. Glasby seemed solid in both attack and defence.

Of other Easts Tigers players centre Eddie Tautali impresses me everytime I see him play and the work rate of Brett Zgrajewski was very high.

The Easts Tigers play Burleigh today. Burleigh have had just one win, so hopefully the Tigers can get their season back on track. Storm players named in the Tigers side are Hampton, Garbutt and Glasby. I assume as Kenny didn't play on Thursday he will also play today. Interesting that Hampton who has played for the Sharks NSW Cup side this season is now up with the Tigers.

Guessing Hampton has gone to Tigers so he can play a full game in the halves in preparation for a possible first grade position next year.

Burleigh Bears 28 defeated Easts Tigers 26. A disappointing result.

Sa'u, Hampton, Garbutt, Glasby and K Bromwich all played.
