Fair call. If he's available 10mins before kickoff I'm sure they'll use him. Brett Stewart will be hoping not, it'll throw Manly's game plan out the window. This new look Melbourne side will be hard to coach against initially, they won't know what to expect.

Pretty hard to be hot when you aren't playing.
There's a Storm brewing in Melbourne and it's forecast to hit Sydney on October 2

Settle down sunshine, its just a bit of fun to keep track of who's performing and who's not. A good game doesnt mean your an automatic selection, at least not in my world.

But if you want to roll like that, be my guest

I think bellamy wants Niko in the line up somewhere. Stanley seems to have played himself into a round 1 spot, Maurice and Gareth are head to head but i think Blairs defence and experience will see him win out, Bromwich, Thompson, Johnson and Kite seem to be the 4 props getting the rave reviews, Lowrie WILL start at lock for some reason bellamy loves him. The team if trial reports mean anything will proberbly look like this:

1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Duffie
3. Chase Stanley
4. Beau Champion
5. Elijah Niko
6. Maurice Blair
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Jesse Bromwich
9. Cameron Smith (c)
10. Troy Thompson
11. Sika Manu
12. Adam Blair
13. Todd Lowrie

14. Ryan Hinchcliffe
15. Mitchell Johnson
16. Sione Kite
17. Kevin Proctor

So East Tigers round 1 starting 13 would be:

1. Dane Chisholm
2. Anthony Quinn
3. Dane Nielsen
4. Tu'u Moari
5. Justin O'Neill
6. Gareth Widdop
7. Rory Kostjasyn (c)
8. Jaiman Lowe
9. Jake Hawkins
10. Bryan Norrie
11. Robbie Rochow
12. Atelea Vea
13. Adam Woolnough

If they don't win the QLD Cup there's something wrong haha.

Yes, which is why Blair was in 2 weeks ago and Widdop this week. The 6 race is that, tight thats why there swapping. In Kite' case he is on the outside looking in, he'll need more then a good trial game to crack a starting spot.

Coach let drop Bobby Blair is out for 4 weeks, 6 race is over for the time being.

What's wrong with Blair? It may still leave Kostjaysen to play 6 if Billy's out. Widdop's electrifying at fullback. Is Chisholm good enough to square off against a Brett Stewart with something to prove?

Disappointing about Maurice Blair.

BTW this is the team from the final game against Newcastle last year. Be interesting to compare to this year.

1. Billy Slater (certainty although injured)
2. Dane Nielsen (probable)
3. Sika Manu (just filling in)
4. Greg Inglis (gone)
5. Justin O'Neill (probable)
6. Brett Finch (gone)
7. Cooper Cronk(certainty)
8. Jeff Lima (gone)
9. Cam Smith (c) (certainty)
10. Brett White(gone)
11. Adam Blair (certainty)
12. Ryan Hoffman (gone)
13. Ryan Hinchcliffe (certainty)

14. Kevin Proctor (probable)
15. Todd Lowrie (could lose his spot)
16. Aiden Tolman (gone)
17. Bryan Norrie (injured but certainty when fit)

Widdop at pivot was a no brainer. He'll be the next Darren Lockyer.
